Objectives:

At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
Understand the use and correct pronunciation of the English alphabet.
Demonstrate effective communication using time, directions, colours and shapes.
Recognise the common hospitality terms and phrases when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Identify the correct use of weather terminology and the connection with months, weeks and days.
Performs exercises using the nine basic parts of speech used on a daily basis within both the work and personal environment.

Day 2: Speaking Skills
Day 3: Reading Skills
Day 4: Verbal Communication (Written)
Day 5: Essentials of Communication

Methodology:

This training course will utilise a variety of proven adult learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented. This includes a facilitative style with a combination of lecture, practical experience in the use of techniques, case studies and a high level of lively debate and sharing of ideas. Delegates will be encouraged to introduce problems of their own for discussion and analysis.
